Lancaster businesses anticipate 'significant challenges' over next five years as BID launches survey on key priorities for city

Businesses located in Lancaster city centre are being asked to complete a "Beyond Covid" survey to determine what the key priorities should be over the next five years.

Lancaster BID (Business Improvement District) is currently developing its business plan for the next five years, and said it understands that priorities may have changed since the last survey in January, conducted before the coronavirus pandemic.

Tony Johnson, manager of Lancaster BID said: "Completion of this new survey will provide confidence in deciding what priorities should be taken forward into the next Lancaster BID Business Plan which will be put to a ballot of levy payers to deliver over the next five years.

"The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

"Please complete by 31st July 2020 to help Lancaster BID to finalise priorities for their new Business Plan with confidence.

"It should ideally be completed by the business owner or manager who is responsible for paying the BID levy for the property.
