Sixth former gets crafty for Lancaster charity CancerCare
The wonderfully creative Anouk Waller Sargent hand-embroiders fantastic t-shirts, bucket hats and tote bags with her own unique designs and donates a portion of her sales to CancerCare.
Anouk is a sixth form student at Lancaster Girls' Grammar School and decided to set up her own enterprise, Tees n Totes, at the beginning of lockdown as a way to boost her mental health.

Hide AdShe also decided to use her creativity as a way to help CancerCare after accessing the charity’s services last year.
Anouk said: “I decided I wanted to build more charity work into my life and thought this business would be a perfect opportunity, so I decided to give 15% of all profits to CancerCare, reaching nearly £60 in the first few months.
"I have been accessing CancerCare’s amazing services since last November and continued all through lockdown, so I wanted to give back to a charity which has done so much for me and my family.”
