“The lockdowns, due to Covid-19, have affected local business and the night life economy immensely with some venues not being able to open for over a year," Nick said.

"It feels like the perfect opportunity to welcome back our independent businesses that our community depend on, whilst preparing for when we can get back to enjoying live music again hopefully in the summer.”

She said: “Suddenly thrown into another lockdown in January resulting in us having to close the doors for the third time wasn't quite what we had in mind for our first exhibition of 2021, ‘Affinity’.

"As with the other lockdowns we’ve felt very supported by our local customers and have successfully continued with our remote shopping service, offering our unique personal approach to online click + collect.

"With the route to reopening insight we were approached by Nick Dagger, whom we have worked with before, with the opportunity to work with him on an exciting new idea to bring our customers and the local community something a little bit different.

"Emerging from lockdown Arteria will host an inspiring collaboration of talents between art, retail and music.”
