In the last six months, The Lothersdale Hotel on central promenade has created a separate accommodation zone with 15 new designer bedrooms.

Plans had already been put in place and work had already started on the extension before the country went into lockdown in March.

Despite the national uncertainty and hardships endured by the hospitality industry over the past couple of months, the hotel has continued to invest in the future and completed its latest big project.

The new accommodation zone has been built on two floors with access via the main hotel and also a separate designated entrance to the rear of the hotel via the car park for guests staying in the executive rooms only.

Security is high priority, so The Lothersdale have taken a concerted effort to put in additional CCTV coverage at the rear, which also give guests the reassurance when booking to stay.

The new designer bedrooms are equipped with the latest amenities and bespoke furnishings including unique wardrobe and workspace, USB plug sockets by the bed and desk, walk in showers and sound proofing.

Specific rooms have also been designed for disability access and have been adjusted accordingly.

With a ‘staycation’ summer being the favourable option amongst many holidaymakers this year, The Lothersdale is hoping its new executive room facility will be in big demand.
