Apprenticeship Challenge: Georgia has gained vital skills to help her career
We're encouraging businesses to create 100 apprenticeships in 100 days in our 100 in 100 campaign (#lmc100in100).
Today apprentice Georgia Simm shares her story of what being an apprentice has meant to her.

For Georgia Simm, a Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice at Knight Training, that relationship is working brilliantly well.
She says: "I don’t have a particular favourite part of my job because I enjoy every element and love coming to work every day.
"I used to struggle with my confidence and found talking to new people very daunting but now I do it every day without even thinking or worrying.

Georgia's job title is administration assistant, but in reality the job stretches to include a range of other tasks; including handling the social media, digital marketing and finance assistant.
The apprentice's normal working day starts with the daily office meeting where tasks are assigned in relation to the courses being run that week.
After the meeting, Georgia writes out a 'to do' list and it's normally pretty full.

"The main skill I feel that I have gained is self-confidence.
"During my time here at Knight Training, I have had to push my own limits by talking to customers on the phone, doing things I have never done before and getting to know new people."
Perhaps not surprisingly, given she has learned so much, Georgia is keen to stay on at Knight Training and further develop her career.

"This opportunity has benefited me greatly in my career. An apprenticeship like this gives you a chance to learn what it is like in the world of work and what employer expectations are."
