Morecambe pub fun day raises over £3,000

Morecambe pub The William Mitchell left charity Rosemere Cancer Foundation in seventh heaven when landlady Tricia Ulyatt presented local fundraising co-ordinator Julie Hesmondhalgh with a cheque for £3,300.

Schoolkids donate £80 to Morecambe RNLI

Following a visit by Year 1 pupils from Caton Primary School to Morecambe’s RNLI lifeboat station, a collection was held at the school’s end of term concert; raising £80 for the charity.

Silent Lines shown at Lancaster Arts

The Olivier Award winning Russell Maliphant Company’s new work Silent Lines, will be shown at Lancaster Arts on October 11 and 12, a new dance production with video artist Panagiotis Tomaras and a new team of dancers.
