A night filled with mixed emotions following the tragic death of PCW legend Kris Travis, but it was a night where the stars were clearly up for doing him proud with a show of top entertainment, and the crowd were up for honouring him by providing a great atmosphere.

After an incredible tribute video put together by the PCW crew, Ring Announcer Richard Parker opened proceedings with a wonderful heartfelt tribute to Travis, surrounded by the entire PCW roster. The action then got underway with the traditional Who Dares Wins six-way match where the winner would enter the main event Rumble at number 30 and the loser would be forced to run the gauntlet – coming in at number 1.

Unfortunately for Rampage Brown, Martin Kirby secured his spot as the last entrant in the Rumble by defeating him. Rampage would have a mountain to climb!

Bubblegum, who is having an incredible year of quality match after match, defeated ROH star Cedric Alexander, further cementing his spot as one of the top British Wrestlers.

Roy Knight of the UK Hooligans defeated US independent star Eddie Kingston in an extremely physical contest that had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

‘War Queen’ Mia Yim (TNA’s Jade) defeated ‘Session Moth’ Martina by pinfall in a contest which fans in attendance described as “absolutely mad”

Charlie Garrett, one of the most athletic and gifted athletes in all of British wrestling defeated Irish brute Luther Ward, proving that he really is something special and the best is surely yet to come from him.

It was down to the main event, the PCW Rumble in which the winner would receive a PCW Championship match in the future. 30 men entered including some exciting debuts from PCW’s Academy of future British wrestlers as well as several established stars including Joey Hayes, Dave Rayne, El Ligero, the UK Hooligans (who spent most of the match drinking shots with Session Moth!), Rampage Brown, who was eliminated by 2 masked men later revealed to be the London Riots, and T-Bone who would go on to win the Rumble match setting up a future bout with PCW champion Sha Samuels.

All in all it was a fantastic night of action in Preston. PCW return to Evoque on April 22-23 for PCW’s Springlam Weekender, which will play host to 3 shows in 2 days!
