Book review: Land of The Midnight Sun by Alexander Armstrong
Actor Alexander Armstrong heads for the Arctic to explore the beautiful, but cold terrains of Greenland, Sweden, Canada and Alaska.
The diary come book ties in with a recent television show and is a great insight into how this would be explorer tackles the tough life people in these remote places experience.
Alexander gets stuck in and enjoys minus 40°C temperatures, drives along a hair-raising 800 mile road that is a river in the summer and takes a plunge in freezing Arctic waters.
It’s a great read, especially when you have a nice cup of hot chocolate by your side!
