Settle Photographic Club annual competition

Early in March, Settle Photographic Group held its annual competition, which was judged by Colin Wilson, a well-known, and experienced judge within Yorkshire, who was, until recently, President of the Yorkshire Photographic Union.

The judge had a difficult task deciding which were the best images from the 69 submitted.

Since it was an open competition, the images covered many different subjects from wildlife to macro to landscape and many more.

Colin Wilson’s comments were appreciative and inciteful and will help the photographers improve their work.

The group only has one competition a year as one of the founding tenets of the group is that it should be supportive and encouraging.
