In fact, in the 12 months to June 2019, 9,508 people moved to Lancaster from elsewhere in the UK.

The third most common place people arrived in the area from was Preston, with 296 arrivals in the year to June 2019.
4. Manchester
The fourth most common place people arrived in the area from was Manchester, with 214 arrivals in the year to June 2019.
