The organisation promotes what they designate as "real" ale, "real" cider, "real" perry and traditional British pubs and clubs.
Here are the pubs and bars in the Lancaster district that have made it into CAMRA' s 2021 Guide - during its 50th year - voted for by CAMRA members.
1. The Bobbin, Cable Street, Lancaster
Regularly in The Good Beer Guide, The Bobbin offers five changing beers, live music at the weekend, an enclosed beer garden and open plan seating.
2. The Bookmakers, Heysham Road, Heysham
The Bookmakers opened as a micropub in 2019. Well stocked bar mainly offering craft beer and real ale from microbreweries.
3. The Cornerhouse, Church Street, Lancaster.
A large, modern bar and restaurant with a good selection of cask and bottled beer.
4. The Eric Bartholomew, Euston Road, Morecambe
Opened in 2004, the Wetherspoon pub is dedicated to Morecambe's favourite son. It offers regular beers and a selection of changing local ones.
