Mercury Music Prize nominated contemporary jazz band Roller Trio will be playing at More Music’s Hothouse in Morecambe on Saturday, March 22.

Hailed by BBC 6 Music’s Gilles Peterson as “the new sound of UK jazz”, Roller Trio’s debut album was a Mercury Music Prize album of the year in 2012.

A joint promotion by More Music and Lancaster Jazz Festival, the band will be supported by experimental multi-instrumentalist and 808 State collaborator Paddy Steer. Tickets are £10/£6 in advance via www.moremusic.org.uk, or over the phone at 01524 831 997.

With a new record on the way in early 2014, the band will bring their fresh concoction of conventional and experimental sounds to The Hothouse in Morecambe as part of Lancaster Jazz Festival.
