Local indie-pop band Stephen Hudson and the Fiat Pandas will prepare for the Cloudspotting Festival this weekend.

The band will be holding a warm-up gig for the music festival in Gisburn Forest on July 26-28. The gig will be held at Yorkshire House, on Parliament Street, Lancaster on Saturday May 23.

Opening the night are Bird to Beast, a pysch-folk duo from Colne. Following them are Haiku Salut- an instrumental trio from the Derbyshire Dales who are influenced by the evocative film soundtracks of Yann Tiersen and Benoît Charest. The band’s debut album Tricolore came out last year.

Country-garage-pop band Stephen Hudson and the Fiat Pandas will then take to the stage, playing their first Lancaster show of the year. Doors will open at 7.30pm and entry is £5.
