The Bottlenecks, Jay Diggins and Pianoman will headline a one day outdoor festival at the Vale of Lune Rugby Club in Lancaster in May.

Lancaster Live, on May 25, features loads of other bands and DJs, and profits go to St John’s Hospice.

The other acts include Blackheart Afterglow, Jay Blackburn, Extravaganza, Fighting Keegans, Doc Martin, Hairpiece Suite, Fully Charged, Ryan Angelis feat. Carla, Rubber Soul, Kev Kendal, Obsession, Montana, Razorawkes, Revival, Natural Thing, David Hanmer, Megan S, Sound Slaves and Gritty Britain.

This will be the second music festival organised at the rugby club on the May bank holiday weekend, with hundreds attending last year’s event.

Tickets are priced £8, available via the festival’s Facebook page.

Ryan Angelis, one of the organisers said: “The Lancaster Live team have worked overtime to conjure up more music, madness and mayhem than ever before as we open up for Lancaster Live 2014, and for the first time we introduce the circus tent arena complete with stilt walkers and fire breathers.

“Since last year was a huge success we have expanded in more ways then one, this year we will see the return of main stage, kids world and the acoustic arena.

“We have added on some special features to all of the rooms to make it more exciting then before and we have a headline act in each arena.”

The festival also features an urban music tent following requests from festival-goers, and this will include rap battles, live performances and a competition for a return show at Lancaster Live 2015.

Tickets are priced £8 for early birds, £10 standard, £5 for children, £25 for a family ticket (two adults and two children) and more on the door. Under 2s get in free.

➨Tickets are available from➨ Jo&Cass Hair Salon and Josephs Clothing in Lancaster, Mace Shop in Skerton and Pleasureland in Morecambe.

The event runs from 11am until 11pm.
