Lancaster promoters Red and Black’s last gig of 2013 sees some old favourites back at The Yorkshire House on Saturday night.

Punk outfit Eastfield exist as a counter-reaction to shoddy attitudes, rock star egos and placing of people on pedestals. Lyrically, they punctuate socio-political comment with associated references from the world of adverts, 1970’s TV programs, railways and first-hand experiences.

They are supported by Blackpool’s The Karma Party , who’ll be having a rage at the government, celebrity culture, the banking system and the music industry, incorporating punk, hardcore and dub elements with fast, melodic guitars and electronica. The evening will kick off with an acoustic warm up set from protest songwriter Chris Butler. Doors open at 8.30pm, entry is £5.
