A benefit gig with an environmental agenda and swashbuckling theme kicks off at The Yorkshire House on Saturday night, November 29.

Hosted by Lancaster Climate Action (LCA) and Pirates Against Climate Change (PACC), the gig will feature spoken word, political folk, and “pirate punk/metal”.

There will be performances by Euan T (DJ set), Beau Nafyde (anarcho spoken word), Alex Yeandle, and Iron Seawolf.

Entry is £3, and all money will go towards local people taking action and raising awareness about climate change.

Pirate clothing is encouraged - there will be a prize for the best dressed pirate – and there will be cakes and veggie/vegan snacks on offer too.

The show starts at 8.30pm.
