Geoffrey gets Settled at gallery exhibition
Geoffrey Clarke, who is known for his aluminium sculptural work, will exhibit enamels, drawings, small scale sculpture, paintings, mono prints and etchings at the Linton Court Gallery until August 30.
Geoffrey, who was born in 1924, studied at Lancaster Art School with his inspirational teacher Ronald Grimshaw, who inspired him to visit museums and archives, researching and sketching various ancient forms and symbols.
While studying in Lancaster he lived at the old vicarage in Warton.
Geoffrey then spent time at both Preston and Manchester Schools of Art (1940-2) before serving in the RAF.
