Keith J Wilson is proof that you’re never too old to follow a dream.
After many years of research and writing, he has fulfilled a long-held ambition and had his first novel published at the age of 82.
Letters From The Past is an historical adventure set during the English Civil War – a gripping tale of secrets, spies, romance, murder and mystery.
Keith has a great love of history and tried to imagine what it would be like for ordinary folk to be caught up in England’s Civil War.
His book takes the reader back to darker days in our country’s history when Englishman fought against Englishman.
Keith’s son Adrian said:“It’s a great novel and all his family are so proud of him.”
Born in Northampton and now living in Wales, Keith has strong links with Lancaster.
His father’s family are from the city and he still visits regularly to see family and friends here.
Keith’s grandfather was a Quaker and member of the Labour Party in Lancaster, working for many years in the market. Keith was actually visiting the city the day the market burnt down.
For a long time, Keith owned a terraced house in Clarence Street which he rented out to students at the then St Martin’s College and the university.
