Bentham boxer Tomi Tatham will fight for his first title next month.

The rising light heavyweight will look to lift the International Challenge crown on March 19 at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse against an opponent to be announced.

The big-hitting 26-year-old, 10-1 as a professional, is hoping 2016 can be his breakthrough year having rebuilt over the last 12 months after a series of injuries halted his progress.

As well as looking to lift his first title, the fight will see Tatham step up to eight rounds for the first time in his promising career.

His contest is part of a big bill of action topped by Blackpool middleweight prospect Jack Arnfield and also including Ryan Doyle who recently challenged Morecambe’s Isaac Lowe for the English featherweight title.

Tickets for the VIP Promotions show are priced £30 for general admission, £50 for ringside or £100 for VIP balcony.
