In the Inter Schools Bay League A Division, the first round matches were held in the Sports Hall at Morecambe High School.

In the A Division for Years 7 and 8 pupils, Dallam started well with a 100 per cent record.

However, Ripley B were in second place, just two points behind.

Ripley duo Matthew Cross and Elliott Bywater each contributed to their team’s success.

Ripley A team have a match in hand and are anticipating making a strong challenge for league honours.

Carnforth High School captain Tomas Nugent and team mate James Stanley competed well to win two of their matches.

In the B Division Great Wood A moved into the top place following their 100 per cent performance in the first round of matches.

Naomi Collins, Alex Milligan and Finley Lynch hit top form to confirm their status as favourites for the title.

Torrisholme A have mounted a strong challenge with Will Silverwood and Bradley Wilkinson also finishing with 100 per cent records.
