Heysham Atoms’ Under 18s put in a complete performance as their unbeaten home dominance continued on Sunday with a 58-0 win over Burtonwood Bridge.

The Trimpell young guns flew out of the blocks and never looked back in another big victory for the club.

The team as a whole were outstanding but some impressive individual performances caught the eye.

Jack Edmonson’s hat-trick, man of the match Micheal Forrest’s 22-point haul and a captain’s display from Dan Helme were the stand outs.

It was 34-0 at the break thanks to tries from Jordan Taylor, Edmondson (two), Jack Lawton, Dan Rodriguez and Matty Humpage.

The second half was more of the same with tries coming at regular intervals through Forrest, Edmondson, who completed his hat-trick, Kai Davis and Helme with an outstanding kick from Lawton helping Forrest round off the scoring.

Next Sunday the youngsters travel to Warrington to take on Latchford Albion who have been as free-scoring as the Atoms this season.
