Dave Chisnall’s bid to win his first world title starts on Saturday night.

The Morecambe darts ace kicks off his Ladbrokes World Darts Championship campaign at London’s Alexandra Palace with a first round match against Australian Shane Tichowitsch shortly after 7pm.

Chizzy, the world number 12, knocked 15-time world champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor out of last year’s £1 million tournament before losing to Andy Hamilton in the last 16.
