Bare beat fellow relegated side Trimpell on the first day of the Westmorland Cricket League season on Saturday.
After losing the toss Bare made a steady but solid start with the bat aided by a few dropped catches.
J Sharman (45) and F Smith (22) got the score to 77-0 off 24 overs setting up the innings well.
Cope removed F Smith and a run out brought T Smith (16) and A Sharman (11) to the crease.
Tight bowling then ensured that Bare could not get out of second gear and after J Moller (14) was bowled again by Cope the game was on a knife edge.
The combination of R Cope (5-27) and P McDermott (4-29) saw four batsman leave without troubling the scorers as Trimpell gained two overs.
An accurate opening spell from T Smith (4-17) and C Albon (3-13) put Trimpell on the back foot with the score 4-4.
M Bland (10) offered some resistance but the fire power proved too much as Albon removed him clean bowled.
P McDermott (15 not out) and C Cannon (11) offered some resistance before the introduction of A Bhadwaj (1-10) and M Cook (2-7).
It was left to T Smith to finish the job off before the rain came as Bare picked up 15 points.
