In the Riley Braithwaite Table Tennis Cup, Nathan Beamer, David Hughes and Ian Midgley took St.Lukes D into the final following their 5-4 win against Garstang D.
Beamer opened the scoring winning the first set 2-0 against Joe Peat which Tom Gorst equalised the score winning 2-0 in the second set for Garstang. The Saints went into a 4-1 lead before Peat, Gorst and Kevin Aughton hit back to level the match at 4-4.
Beamer clinched the tie, winning the blast set against Gorst.
In the second semi-final the youngsters in the Morecambe team dominated the match with Abhinav Sinha, Adam Ordenez and Hudson Nuttall hitting top form to defeat St.Lukes C 5-1.
Beamer, Hughes and Midgely established a 3-0 lead against Morecambe before Ordenez and Sinha pulled two sets back which left Hughes the task of winning the decisive set to give St.Lukes D cup success.
