Heysham’s Jack Senior missed the cut in his latest Challenge Tour event.
The Walker Cup star posted rounds of 78 and 71 to card a seven over par two round score at the Najeti Hotels et Golfs Open in Lumbres in the north of France.
It was the fourth successive event where he has missed the final two rounds of action.
The event was won by Ireland’s Simon Thornton who beat South African Tjaart Van der Walt in a play-off.
Senior is next out at the Scottish Hydro Challenge at the MacDonald Spey Valley Golf Club in Aviemore, Scotland from this Thursday, June 20.
On the European Senior Tour, Gary Wolstenholme finished tied for 34th at the three-round Speedy Services Wales Senior Open.
Wolstenholme posted a 10 over par total at the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club with rounds of 72, 80 and 71.
Phil Golding produced a sensational final round 66 to overhaul home favourite Ian Woosnam and take the title.
