Josh Lancaster and his newly-formed Lean Body Strength Club took part in a Scottish powerlifting competition recently, with every single competitor winning a trophy.

The event was the Scottish Push Pull Championships in Scotland, run by the British Drug Free Powerlifting Association.

The 14-strong team of male and female powerlifters, with ages ranging from 16 years to 66 years, all train with coach Josh Lancaster of Lean Body Systems based at 3-1-5 Health Club in Lancaster.

Also competing was Corrina Cross, Beccy Stephenson, Jo Hinde who also won a trophy.

Head coach Lancaster said: “I think it is one of my proudest days, everyone got into the spirit and it was nerve-racking for all with three referees watching the technicality of the lifts.

“Personal best records were being smashed by all and we can’t wait for our next competition in 12 weeks time.”
