An Ingleton racer enjoyed an excellent weekend at the Bob McIntyre memorial classic races at the East Fortune circuit east of Edinburgh.
Harley Rushton, 19, won two of three races for a 350cc class victory as well as winning all three of the 500cc races on Sunday to win the David Swallow memorial trophy for the best rider of the weekend under 30.
Rushton said: “The David Swallow trophy just topped the weekend off.
“I was close to winning it last year but just missed out but after my performance this year I am grateful to receive it.
“As well as receiving a handful of trophies for my results over the two classes this weekend I am happy with my progression.
“I reduced my lap times on both bikes as the weekend went on managing to get quicker and quicker, setting a respectable pace.
“This was a good shakedown for this weekend at Anglesey, our next championship round. There’s a lot of work to do this week to get ready for then but I’m looking forward to it.”
