Lancaster travelled to Durham with the intention of edging away from the bottom of the table but were beaten 3-1.

Lancaster started the better of the two teams but against the run of play Durham broke, poor marking saw the opposition drive down the back line and attempt to cross to the penalty spot.

Goalkeeper Leighan Bleasdale dived to cut out the cross but Lancaster were slow to clear the danger.

The University side worked the ball around the D and fired into the right corner of the goal.

The second goal came from a freak deflection off a Lancaster player trying to protect herself from a dangerous shot.

The ball looped in the air and crept into the top of the goal.

Annie Park scored the only goal for Lancaster, remaining composed in a one on one situation after Ali Standeven fed a ball through into space.

Durham scored again from Lancaster giving possession to the opposition far too easily.

Meanwhile, Lancaster were beaten 3-1 by Lytham St Annes Ladies 1s.

Their only goal was scored by Shannon Davey.

Lancaster 3s beat Witton Warriors 1s 2-0 thanks to strikes from Eve Dodd and J Burrows.

Lancaster 4s were beaten 1-0 by Lytham St Annes Ladies 3s, while Lancaster 5s were held to a 1-1 derby draw with Lancaster and Morecambe 3s.

Lancaster and Morecambe took an early lead due to some poor defending and went into half time 1-0 ahead.

However, Lancaster hit back in the second half thanks to a strike from Issy Christopherson to earn her team a share of the spoils.
