Lancaster were held to a 1-1 draw at bottom of the table Longridge Ladies in the North Hockey Women’s League Premier Division on Saturday.
The city side were hoping to get back to winning ways against their Lancashire rivals but are now four games without a win and right in midtable in sixth with two games of the season to play.
In a high intensity match the hosts took the lead in the opening half and held onto their advantage until the break.
Lancaster were improved in the second period and forced a number of short corners.
It was from one of those set plays that the visitors levelled things up through Jayde Christeansen.
Both sides went in search of a winner but had to settle for a share of the spoils.
The second team lost 1-0 at Preston Ladies 2s in the Lancashire Central Women’s Hockey Association Premier Division while the thirds were held 2-2 on home turf by Witton Warriors Ladies 1s in Division One.
On Sunday, Lancaster’s Development Team drew 1-1 at Ambleside Ladies 2s in the Cumbrian Netherwood League Division One.
The visitors started strongly but it was the hosts who went ahead having seen an earlier penalty saved.
But Lancaster levelled things up in the second half through Anya Briggs with neither side able to find a winner.
