World number five Dave Chisnall was the star attraction as local darts players raised money for a good cause over the festive period.

The Morecambe ace, who reached his first major PDC final at this year’s World Grand Prix, won the David Ian Skoda Darts Open at Morecambe Cricket Club on Sunday, December 29.

More than £300 was raised for St John’s Hospice on the night with Chisnall defeating Ben Fairley in the final to win the £200 first prize at the end of a day of top-class darts.
