RUGBY players at Lancaster Royal Grammar School were treated to some international-level coaching from All Blacks legend, John Kirwan.

He put the U15 team through their paces in the morning and after lunch, coached the senior squad.

He took the boys through a series of handling drills and also took the opportunity to talk a little about the big game psychology as the U15’s approach their Lancashire Cup Final on March 27.

Kirwan made 96 appearances on the wing for the All Blacks (including 63 test matches) from 1984 until 1994, scoring 35 test tries and 67 tries in total for the All Blacks, the latter being a New Zealand record.
