SKERTON ABC finished off the season with style.
Isaac Lowe won the 54kg North West ABA Championship belt in dramatic fashion by knocking out the number three ranked bantam-weight in England.
This was Isaac’s first senior contest as he was only recently turned 17-years-old making him eligible to contest the belt.
His opponent was Ross Cootsey of Barrow ABC, a former junior ABA champ and a novice ABA champ who recently reached the national semi-final of the ABA Championships losing narrowly to the final winner.
Isaac made a fast start scoring with stinging punches then he switched the attack to the body with a powerful left hook.
The result was instant, sending his rival reeling to the canvas.
He beat the count only to be dropped again by another barrage of shots; this time he failed to beat the count.
Isaac is the youngest winner of a North West ABA Championship belt ever.
