Carnforth Rangers Reds u13s are county champions after victory over Cadley in the Lancashire FA final.
The district team couldn’t have wished for a better start at county headquarters in the Leyland, scoring two goals in the first five minutes.
Cadley came back into the game but Carnforth took a deserved 3-1 lead in at half time. The second half kicked off with Cadley having nothing to lose.
They pushed Rangers hard but could only pull one goal back with the final score 5-2 to Carnforth. Goalscorers were Brett Walker (2), Izhaq Theobald, Joe Smith and Lewis Allott.
Four referees from the Lancaster and and Morecambe Service to Youth League also officiated the under 15 final.
They took charge of Ashton Athletic against Bamber Bridge with each referee having taken part in the group stages as either a referee or an assistant throughout the whole of Lancashire.
Those involved, pictured above, were Peter Worrall, fourth official, Curtis Wood, assistant referee, Ryan Gregory, referee and Gavin Satterley, assistant referee.
