Four of Morecambe’s younger players have signed new contracts at the Globe Arena.
The Shrimps’ back-up goalkeeper Andreas Arestidou has penned a two-year deal with Joe McGee, Joe Mwasile and Chris Doyle all extending their deals by a further year.
Former Preston North End stopper Arestidou impressed when called into action last season making eight appearances during the 2012-2013 campaign.
Central midfielder McGee and winger Mwasile both earned rave reviews during loan spells at Conference North side Workington Reds.
First-year professional Doyle was called into first-team action late on in the season after injuries to several key defenders, making his full Football League debut against Torquay in the penultimate game of the season.
