Parkinson nets winner for Marsh

IN the Black Dragon Senior Challenge Cup third round, the game played between Division One Kirkby Lonsdale and Premier Division Marsh United was tight throughout on a heavy pitch.

Chances were few and far between but the one chance taken by Liam Parkinson was enough to win the game for the Premier side.

In the 848-848 Taxis/Sam Price Memorial Cup second round, an intriguing game was played between Slyne-with-Hest and Bowerham/Furness United.

The game was close with both sides playing good football on a greasy pitch.

The young Bowerham side had most of the possession but Slyne looked dangerous when they had the ball.

It was Bowerham who went through to the semi-finals after Joe Bouskill and Ben Dambrosia scored. They will be away to the winners of the Marsh United v Carnforth Rangers tie.
