Have your say

The defeat to Ossett Town on Saturday was very frustrating.

We were pretty poor but still had chances to win.

It was a bit of damp squib though and we didn’t get going.

It’s no excuse but I personally felt quite tired but we can’t whinge because we simply weren’t good enough on the day.

With nine games to go the play-offs are a long way off now and it’s about getting things right for next season.

We’ve proven ourselves against the top teams but sometimes we can’t seem to get ourselves up for facing the less-fancied sides.

The trip to Brighouse Town is another one where we have to make sure we’re at it and motivated.

For one reason or another though we seem to be better away from home at the moment.

Whether we’re set up better to play on the road I don’t know.

The expectancy is on the home teams to come at us and maybe we’re a better counter attacking side with some pace in the team.

At home, especially when we’re expected to win, some times we struggle to get going, as was the case against Ossett.

Brighouse is the start of three games on the road though so hopefully we can keep up our decent away form.
