A win over the North West Counties Premier Division side at Giant Axe will move Phil Brown’s within one game of the county cup final at Bolton Wanderers’ Macron Stadium.
Captain Neil Marshall is relishing the challenge of a competition that many clubs dismiss.
He said: “It’s often a competition that sides don’t take seriously but looking at our position the reality is we’ve got a good chance of getting to a major final.
“It’s a quarter-final tie and there are plenty of lower ranked teams left in it.
“You never know in the cup so it would be great to get to a final at the Macron Stadium.
“And if you can get that far who knows in a one-off game?”
Padiham and Chorley have already sealed their semi-final places with Bamber Bridge and Colne also meeting in the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
