LANCASTER City boss Tony Hesketh is set to freshen things up after seeing his side fall to a disappointing defeat at home to Curzon Ashton on Tuesday evening.

The Dolly Blues boss believes it is the right time to rotate with games against high-flyers Chorley, Chester and AFC Fylde to come as well as the President’s Cup final against Belper Town.

Speaking after the game against Curzon, Hesketh said: “We were well below par and didn’t really threaten. It was an unusual performance against a very mediocre Curzon Ashton side.

“It’s maybe time to freshen things up with some big games coming up. Four or five people who were on the bench last night will start on Saturday. Josh Kenworthy has recovered from injury and Adam Farrell could be ready too.”
