LANCASTER City goalkeeper Martin Fearon has turned down the chance to leave the club.
Dolly Blues assistant manager Phil Brown said Fearon had been approached by a club from a higher division but had decided to stay at the club.
Brown said: “There was more money in it for him but he turned it down and has committed himself to Lancaster City.
“After that I think the team is farily settled. As Tony (Hesketh, Lancaster City manager) said when the new wage structure was introduced we didn’t expect lots of players to be leaving the club and I don’t think we’re going to lose anyone else.”
Brown was also optimistic that the club would be able to add to their current squad.
