FLEETWOOD Town’s Jack Duggan looks set to return to Lancaster City.
The young defender spent the final part of last season and the beginning of the current campaign on loan at the Giant Axe with his last spell ending in mid-November.
Duggan has spent the month of December at Evo-Stik Premier Division leaders Chester and as soon as his stay at the Exacta Stadium finished earlier this week, City boss Tony Hesketh moved to get his man.
Hesketh said: “I’ve spoken with (Fleetwood manager) Micky Mellon and there’s a chance Jack could play on Saturday against Woodley.
“It will be a big plus for us if we can get Jack back, especially with Danny Gregson’s injury, but because of budget restrictions it could mean one in and one out. If Jack comes in, we’d have to lose somebody.”
