Coach Zak wins award again

NORTH West head coach and Lancaster City Swimming and Water Polo coach Zak Sly has won, for the second consecutive year, North West Young Coach of the year.

This year’s nomination was put in by his club, Lancaster City, for all the hard work he has put in, regionally and nationally.

The award is not just based around water polo but all of the five aquatic sports.

Vice President of the his club Mike Hesketh said “Zak has for the second year won this prestigious award.

“It is down to his dedication and hard work with the club, the region and also England Talent.

“The club are very proud and it shows how our coaches want to develop to be the countries’ best”.
