City manager ready to ring the changes

LANCASTER City boss Tony Hesketh is set to ring the changes for Saturday’s trip to struggling Ossett Albion.

Hesketh was disappointed with City’s 3-2 win against Harrogate Railway Athletic on Saturday as well as the abject 1-0 home defeat to Bamber Bridge on Tuesday night.

He said: “I’ve said all along I’d need to make changes over the season.

“I’m going to make two, three or four on Saturday. It’s not a knee jerk reaction, it’s on the back of two poor performances. I thought we were abysmal in the first half against Harrogate.

“There are four or five who have sat it out recently and will get a chance.”
