Morecambe’s game at Notts County was abandoned due to a freak downpour at Meadow Lane.

The League Two clash lasted just 11 minutes with torrential rain leaving the pitch unplayable.

Referee Dean Whitestone took the players from the field to see if the rain would ease but with puddles forming on the pitch all the time the official was left with no option but to abandon the match.
