Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora’s summer rematch will be for the Finchley fighter’s European title.
It was announced on Monday the pair would clash in a final eliminator for Wladimir Klitschko’s WBO World Heavyweight title in Manchester on July 26 with the British title also on the line.
And now it was been confirmed that the European strap will also be up for grabs at the Phones 4 U Arena after Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev pulled out of purse bids to face Chisora.
Promoter Frank Warren said, “Chisora and Fury is the biggest all-British heavyweight fight in recent years.
“There’s so much on the line for both men, the winner will get the number one spot to Klitschko, the vacant British title is up for grabs and now Chisora’s European title has been added.
“Both men have got everything to fight for and I believe that you’ll see the very best from both of them.
“They are proud fighting men and neither man will back down.
“For that reason you’re going to see something special on the night.”
