Emma shines in Solihull to earn her place on world class talent programme

Following a superb bronze medal performance in the British Modern Triathlon Championships in Solihull, 14 year old Emma Whittaker has been admitted onto the pentathlon world class talent programme.

This is especially impressive as Emma was competing in the U17 category.

Also competing in Solihull was 13 year old Isabelle Woodman who won the U15 combined Run/Shoot event with a 5th place overall that included the swim.

Eleven year old Timothy Woodman also competed finishing in 4th place in the U13 category.

Closer to home in Cheshire COLT juniors where also in action at the Northwich Aquathlon that involves a continuous swim and run.

Ronan Maher (8) Rhys Ashton (10), Larissa Hannam (11) and Ben Winterburn (14) all took silver medals in their respective race categories.

Jack Collet (9) put in a determined performance to take Bronze in the Tristar 
1 category followed closely by George Wilby (9) and Anan Tiger Clark 
(9).

Also competing and putting in strong performances were Kirsty Maher (9), Rhianna Sisson (9), Thomas Dowthwaite (11), Timothy Woodman (11), Amelie Earnshaw (10), Madison Craven (11), Isabelle Woodman (13) and Lydia Shenton (13).
