The unbeaten Westgate Warrior will put his belt on the line against Ryan Doyle at the Manchester Arena this Saturday night.

Fury, who has taken Lowe running in the Lake District hills as part of his training, has been impressed with the 21-year-old’s dedication and believes he will pass the sternest test of his career.

“He’s kid who has had 12 fights and only lost one.

“Whoever wants it more on the night will win it but I’ve got full faith in Isaac.

“He’s been training hard and putting in the dedication where he didn’t before.

“I think this is the first training camp where he hasn’t been on the drink the week before!”

Fury was ringside when Lowe stopped Jamie Speight to win the title back in Leeds in September, jumping onto the ring apron to congratulate his long-time pal as the fight was waved off.

He said: “I thought it was an excellent performance, he did really well.

“(European champion) Josh Warrington didn’t stop him and neither did (IBF world champion) Lee Selby but Isaac Lowe did.

“After a couple of rounds I thought he was maybe going to blow up because he started at a frenetic pace and he went flat out.

“But he kept his fitness all the way through and I was very impressed.”
