Storeys moved back to the top of the Premier Division after winning a terrific high-scoring game at Kirkby Lonsdale on Saturday.
Storeys were rocked in the opening two minutes when Kirkby Lonsdale took the lead in their first attack when Scott Tremble scored but Storeys settled and got the equaliser with a John Byers goal.
David Leslie put Storeys into a deserved lead before two goals by Jonathon Pedder made it 4-1 in favour of Storeys.
Kirkby stormed back into the game with two quick goals scored by Brian Pennington and Jaffa Bojang to make it 4-3.
Storeys had to defend for all its worth before goals from Liam Jeffrey and Gareth Turner made the game safe.
Marsh United are moving menacingly into a challenging position with another good win, beating Halton Rangers 7-0.
Man of the match was Lee Sparks who scored fifth of the goals, Lee Marshall came off the bench again to score while Danny Hunt got the final goal.
Ingleton had a good game against Morecambe Hoops, ending a bad run with a 3-0 win.
Both sides were intent on attacking football but it was the Ingleton side which enjoyed the break through just before half time when Chris Bibby scored.
After the break, the Hoops' swift counter-attacks nearly brought them goals before Bibby gave Ingleton a bit of breathing space with another good goal and the Hoops were caught out when Ben Jackson made it 3-0.
Caton United travelled to Cartmel for the second time in November and came away with its second defeat, this time losing 6-0.
After a tight first half, Cartmel got on top when Joel Drinkall scored his first goal. Drinkall went on to score a further three goals with Dean Richards and young Dan Brown also on target as Cartmel moved above Kirkby Lonsdale into sixth place.
Division One leaders Bowerham had very few problems in beating Ingleton Reserves 4-1 to keep a nine-point advantage over Bentham.
Goals by Joe Bouskill, Tom Spencely and a brace by Andy Strachan cancelled out a great goal scored by Mark Loughlin.
Bentham had a hard game against fourth-placed Marsh United Reserves before coming through 3-1. Bentham played better in the first half to lead 2-1 at the break with Sam Lister and Gary Louth scoring the goals.
Marsh replied when Chris Hodgkinson put through his own net.
Marsh played the better football in the second half but were caught when James Earnshaw raced clear to make it 3-1.
Boys Club met Grange for the second time in a week and again came out on top winning 3-0 with good counter-attack goals from Aaron Pearce and two from Liam Parkinson.
Millhead played some good football to easily win 6-1 against a Torrisholme side which has only won one game so far this season.
Millhead scored almost at will with goals from James Rafferty, Michael Reghilini – up from the Reserves – who was promoted from the second team, Andy Markham, Ben Barrow and Sean Pennington with two.
Morecambe Royals Reserves started well against second-placed Slyne-with-Hest (LCC) but the first half ended goalless. The second half saw Slyne raise their game and Lee Davies put them in front.
Slyne missed some other good chances and were made to pay when Gary Fawcett scored an equaliser for Royals.
The Division Two Whiteside Cup first round saw Freehold ease through 4-0 at Caton United Reserves.
Both teams had early chances but the first half ended goalless with Freehold having a goal ruled out for offside.
Freehold raised their game in the second half and Phil Bushell's low shot made it 1-0. The goals then came quickly with Richard Chambers and substitute's Jimmy Watters and Stuart Clarkson finding the net.
In the League, the match of the day was between two promotion hopefuls Arnside and Morecambe Cricket Club.
The game was as good as everyone had anticipated with Arnside just edging the win with a Chris Kelly goal.
Furness Rovers had to pull out all the stops to beat Westgate Wanderers side 2-1.
Furness made most of the early running and after some good build-up work, Will Lowe scored. Westgate drew level with leading scorer Stuart McClean finding the net.
The pressure that Furness applied in the later stages paid dividends when the excellent James McNally turned up at the right time to tap in the winner.
Swarthmoor Reserves won only their second game of the season when they beat a disappointing Slyne-with-Hest (LCC) 'A' team by a single Sean Dixon goal after a quick break.
In Division Three, the shock of the day and indeed of the season so far, saw leaders Squires lose comprehensively lose 3-0 to bottom team Arnside Reserves.
Arnside fully deserved their first win of the season after nine attempts. Once Arnside had taken the lead with a Craig Baron goal, the result was never in doubt.
A full-strength Squires side did not string two passes together as they suffered their first league defeat since the opening game of last season. Two further goals from Chris Housley only managed to heap more misery on the Squires side.
Allithwaite Rangers moved into second place after inflicting Bentham Reserves first defeat of the season. Allithwaite's Nathan Bushell who scored a superb hat-trick in a 3-1 win.
Halton Rangers slipped to a 2-1 loss at home to Carnforth Rangers Reserves, Natham Downham and Paul Taylor on target for Carnforth with Steven Leeming replying.
The most exciting game was the clash between an improving Burton Thistle and Bolton-le-Sands Reserves, Thistle just edging it 4-3.
Tom Forest scored two excellently taken goals with another youngster Matthew White and Simon Gregory on target.
Sands tried to keep with Burton but could only score three times through Alec Batson, Antony Lewis and an own goal by Burton's Chris Taylor.
Gregson recorded a good 4-0 win over a battling Heysham side who wasted two good chances before Adrian Thomas opened the scoring for Gregson.
Michael Clegg scored a great goal to double the lead and he added another later on while Darren Hinchcliffe also netted.
In Division Four, the league's last 100 per cent record was broken when College AFC Reserves held Highgrove Colts to a 3-3 draw.
College took a deserved 2-0 lead with goals by Matthew Vernon and Dan Anderton but as the game wore on, the Colts started to take over and after 70 minutes scored two quick goals, both scored by Dan Broadley.
It looked all over for the College side when Matthew Walton put the Colts into the lead but College rallied and Ryan Wilkinson scored an equaliser.
Heysham Reserves outplayed a young Overton Reserves side in the first half to lead 2-0 with goals from Joel Crabtree and Darren Kerr.
The second half was much closer as Overton battled much harder but Heysham managed a third when Dan Taylor scored to give Heysham their first win.
Gregson Reserves completed a club winning double, beating Morecambe Cricket Club Reserves 3-1 after playing some good football. Gregson's goals came from Mark Stevenson, a rare Doug Purvis goal and Lee Hall. The experienced Adam Cordingly replied.
Moghuls gained revenge after a heavy defeat two weeks earlier by leaders Morecambe Gold by beating them 3-0.
After a goalless first half, . Moghuls started the second half much better and 18-year-old Khoda Gyasuddiam scored with two great headers and Adze Danboyi got the third to make the game safe.
* MARSH United have been named Lancaster Honda North Lancashire and District team of the month award for November.
Marsh and Bowerham were the only two teams to win all all five games in November but Marsh's goal difference was 12 better than Bowerham's.
