The Mammoth blighted many lives

The new wind turbine off Hazelrigg Lane on land owned by Lancaster University.

Well done to Lancaster University and their nomination for the Sustainabilty Award.

I understand the wind turbine has produced 15% of the university’s electricity consumption and the new Energy Centre has reduced electricity consumption by more than 7%.

Ironically, my records show almost the same success with my own efforts – 9%.

No turbine,no thermal combined heat and power engine (CHP), no thermal biomass boiler, no subsidies. Indeed I’ve supported everyone else with green charges on my utility bills.

Just simply prudent energy usage.

Switch off the lights, turn down or off the heating, wear a jumper, keep working and recycle.

The recently installed turbine (The Mammoth) blighted many lives. They often do!

We’re all playing a role in the sustainable development.

Good luck at the Grosvenor House hotel presentation.
