The approach to our city from the south is spoiled by a real eyesore. The building owned is in a deplorable state of repair.
Since the roof was removed the rest of the building has been vandalised with glass smashed and signs of forced entry evident.
Another eyesore is on Bowerham Road. The former Parkfield Garage and the adjoining shops were devastated by fire a couple of years ago and have stood derelict ever since. The property was boarded up a few weeks ago but still remains an eyesore to the local residents.
Is the council taking any action to make the owners repair these properties or will they remain for several more years to deteriorate even further?
