A CancerCare employee has put foot to pedal to raise more than £1,000 for the charity.

Alison Stainthorpe set herself a personal challenge of cyclcing 81 miles from Walney Island, Barrow in Furness to Glasson Dock, Lancaster along the Bay Cycle Way route.

Alison, head of operations at the Lancaster cancer charity, raised more than £1,000 for the cause.
